I strongly believe I will be an assist to your work place as I work well under pressure have strong values in relation to meeting deadlines and being organized, I believe preparation is essential in the workforce. I have a positive attitude towards life and have developed excellent customer service skills.

I have an honours degree in social care studies, this degree assisted in helping me to develop my intellectual, social, communication and independent working skills.

Roles: My role was to work with service users to assist them in developing independent skills. Aim is to help them progress into employment. Patience, an enthusiastic attitude, the ability to function well in a team, the ability to encourage people to progress and an observant mind when in the work environment were all essentials skills needed for working in this center.

2012 Willowbrook Residential unit

Residential house for teenagers in the care system.

Roles: Working with young people to develop a healthy routine and positive attitude in their everyday lives. To assist them in developing positive relationships with parents or any family networks and assist in the development of independent living skills, along with encouraging them to remain in the education system or to direct them in discovering what life paths they would like to go down and what they need to do to get there.

Roles:To provide stable activities and a therapeutic environment for people with mental health problems were they can express their emotions in a positive and productive way. Patience, crisis management and being able to work under pressure with vulnerable people were key skills learnt in this area.

Interpersonal Skills I have an outgoing personality and believe that a persons’ people skills are critical in Social care as clients can pick up on your emotions and your frame of mind and that affects how the will respond to you as a Carer.

Interests
