As designer for heat exchanger fixtures, injection moulds, press tools, fixtures etc for different customers

Process planning for Aerospace components; from modeling, process planning & follow up until final delivery

Design & development of fixtures for different production processes

Mar’07 – Sep’10 with Interplex Electronics, Malaysia as Tool Room In-charge

Role:

Accountable for maintaining the quality and production needs of the fully automated injection molds for reel-to-reel insert molding components

Managed the project transfer as well as training on operations and troubleshooting of 3 vertical injection molds for reel-to-reel insert molding; from Interplex China

Ascertained preventive maintenance of moulds, reduced mold down time & enhanced cycle time by implementing new methods

Liaised with customers and vendors on queries regarding new product DFM & new design suggestions

oDevising estimated cycle time, part weight, runner weight, preparing and sending weekly reports and presentations on problem solving or suggestions for improvements
