Civil Hospital Karachi is one of the largest graduate teaching hospitals of Pakistan with specialties including causality (accidents/emergency) offering a wide range of facilities and care opportunities to patients. My Resident role at Civil Hospital Karachi included responsibilities in the pediatrics and surgical/Neurosurgical wards, the ER, inpatient and the outpatient department where I managed patients with both serious and benign disorders.
Following the attending in his morning and evening rounds and following his instructions.
Provided first aid to patients who came in with injuries following accidents.
Performed minor procedures such as passing NG tubes, maintaining IV lines, and Lumber Punctures.
