An accomplished, qualified Industrial Safety Engineer with over 16 years industry experience overseeing phases from conception to completion of high value complex and diverse offshore Oil, Gas projects.

West Pegasus is a 6th generation semi submersible. The design is based on Moss Maritime CS50 MkII and the unit is designed to work in both benign and harsh environments.

Safety Duties

Effectively use and promote all Seadrill safety and environmental tools which include MOC, PTW, TBRA, OBS, 4 Point Check etc.

Responsible for training and instruction in the six Safety Critical Procedures.

Responsible for administration of the Synergi tracking system onboard and Total Management System Application (TMS)

Maintain compliance programs established by Seadrill, the Client and Governmental agencies

Participate and assist in development and training of emergency response teams as per Station Bill

Assist local safety committee delegates with safety related matters

Support the development and implementation of QHSE practices and behaviors required for safe operations onboard the unit.

Conduct daily audits and weekly safety inspections with relevant supervisors as required

Maintain compliance programs established by Seadrill, the Client and Governmental agencies

Induction for arrival personnel to include site specific information

Assist the OIM in the development of safety policies and procedures on the unit

Knowledgeable about behavioral processes and procedures used to identify potentially unsafe hazards or conditions.
