I was there for 17 years. This work involved designing and building equipment that provides ground power to aircraft when they are parked at a terminal or in a hangar for maintenance. I also did design work on the PS-94 series of power converters. These devices convert aircraft generated power (variable frequency) to fixed frequency and voltage for powering equipment requiring stable power, three phase or single phase.
