It was an Enterprise wide initiative to create a centralized hub for data sharing and exchange of data between several Producer and Consumer Systems. It involved publishing real time business data from the Producer Systems to the DSI hub and consumption of real time data by the Consumer Systems from the hub. Data was published to the DSI hub via business events and consumed by the Consumer systems in a specific order. I was in charge of the study, analysis and creation of various software documents for the Consumer system named MISYS Loan IQ, a COTS product.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Real Estate Structured Finance Servicing Unit is the sixth largest commercial mortgage loan servicer in the country. The portfolio totaling approximately $134 billion is serviced primarily for third parties, including CMBS investors. The platform is rated annually by S&P and Fitch as a Primary, Master and Special Servicer.

I worked on multiple projects under the Multifamily Data Warehouse (MFDW) initiative. The initiative was aimed at setting up a Data Integration Infrastructure for Commercial mortgage. This would help Merrill Lynch in reducing replication of data, retiring ETL EUC’s and legacy systems, adding abstraction to eliminate dependence on upstream systems design and creating a single source of attested data. The MFDW would also improve efficiencies for future systems / enhancements and simplify corporate reporting. This initiative implemented rules driven Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
