Career Summary
I have qualified with my B-Tech surveying. I have also done Certificates in GIS with esriSA, project management
with Regenesys. started to be in Survey field in 1999, and diverged to GIS in 2004, where I was employed by
Ethekwini Municipality; Been involved with GIS for the town planning department; moved to GIPO, in Ethekwini as
well, did projects like street renaming projects, was driving the project for a year, and went to Environmental
Management and climate change department, for the Ethekwnini working as a Senior GIS Officer managing
environmental servitudes by doing audits on them. I am currently with Human settlements department working as
an Assistant Manager GIS, managing Human settlements housing projects, by doing some fields work, and
advising town planners on Survey matters and GIS matters when they deal with external stakeholders who are
contracted by the department to carry their housing services. I believe I cannot just make a good candidate looking
at my experience of 15years, I believe to myself that I can make a good worker as well, since i have worked with
different kind of people of different cultures.
