Denna has over 18 years of experience in the IT field spanning management of production, development, and test environments, systems administration, disaster recovery planning, information security, database management, and developer skills in assorted areas. She has obtained a Top Secret security clearance and attended Project Management Professional (PMP) training. She has worked in a 24x7 corporate computer center managing large systems with interactive applications and sizeable amounts of data, employing a variety of skills, such as NT, UNIX and Network administration for a mid-sized site that included system integrity and availability, backup and recovery management, hardware sizing and purchasing, retaining and utilizing vendor provided maintenance, and maintaining DNS tables and servers. She was the liaison between Finance/HR and the SA/DBA teams for new system migrations and upgrades, and an instrumental team member producing the center’s recovery plans for disaster planning and business continuity.

Denna later trained in Oracle application development and has participated in several end-to-end system development lifecycles. She has supported projects by fulfilling the roles of application developer, system administrator, database designer, and database administrator. She has worked in web-based application development, especially in the areas of Oracle Forms & Reports, ColdFusion, ASP, Oracle DB, and SQL Server DB development, along with significant exposure to JavaScript, Apache Tomcat, and VB.NET. She has demonstrated experience in deploying databases and applications to client sites, is sensitive to deployment scheduling, protecting systems, and preserving data.
