Major Responsibilities As Plant Inspector:-
Material receiving inspection and review the documents as per drawing/reqirements..
Review/approve the documents/procedures provided by contractor.
Verification and application of the requirements of the applicable codes, standards, scope of work and issued for construction (IFC) drawings.
External inspection of equipments i.e. pressure vessels, columns, exchangers, towers, storage tanks, fin fan coolers.
Structure installation and erection inspection activities.
Involved in column/tower nozzles replacement activities.
Involved hot tapping activities and review the documents.
Conduct daily safety tool box meetings.
Involved in tie-in activities and equipment installation activities.
Involved in storage tank bottom plate replacement activities and review the reports/dossiers.
Witnessed the NDT i.e. PT & MT and review the reports.
Witnessed the PWHT, Hardness, PMI and review the report.
Witnessed the pressure test i.e. hydro test/pneumatic test.
Prepare the equipment's individual finding reports and updating the finding summary sheet.

Major Responsibilities As QC Welding & PWHT Inspector:-
Material receiving inspection of welding consumable and review the documents.
Responsible for reviewing WPS as per ASME section IX and performance qualification (WQT) prior to start the work or submit to authorities for final approval.
Verification and application of the requirements of the applicable welding codes, standards, scope of work and issued for construction (IFC) drawings.
Welding inspection of storage tanks, pipe lines of stainless steel (S.S), carbon steel (C.S)and alloy material. i.e. before, during & after welding, defect marking on welded joints to carry out repairs as per acceptance codes / standards (if any) prior to any NDT, PWHT or Client Inspection.
Control the welding consumable as per approved WPS/procedure, verification the welding consumables (Electrodes) backing record, condition, storage and handling.
Perform/witnessed the hardness test as per requirements and review of test reports.
Making of R.T maps for storage tanks and Selection of R.T spots on tank as per code requirements of API-650.
Verify all NDE reports/Coverage according to requirement.
Verification to ensure the applicable welding/brazing procedures specifications (WPS/BPS) are approved by the authorities prior to start welding/brazing activities. Ensure that the approved welding/brazing procedures are utilized for the production and process activities
Witnessed the NDT i.e. DPT/MPT and review the NDT reports.
Witnessed the PMI of S.S/alloy material and review the reports.
Witnessed the PWHT and review the graph/reports.
Witnessed the welders qualification test (WQT).
Major Responsibilities As Mechanical/Piping Inspector:-
Material receiving inspection of base material and review of mill test certificates (MTC) as appropriate.
Material receiving inspection of valves according to supplied documents.
Witnessed the hydro testing of valves and preparing the reports.
Witnessed the pressure gauges and relief valve calibration and review the reports.
Stage and final of Inspection of complete equipment i.e. pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Columns, Reactors, Pipe Spools, Tube Bundles and Exchangers with client & ASME inspector.
Reports making i.e. daily inspection reports, final visual and dimensional inspection(FVDI) reports, hardness test reports, hydro test report, material summary, pneumatic test report, peaking/ banding, bottom flatness, roundness, plumbness, oil leak test, vacuum box test, PT/ MT reports etc.
Verify the thickness of equipments by using of UT thickness meter as per requirement.
Verification of equipment calibration i.e. pressure gauges, welding machines, backing/holding ovens and quivers.
Verify the equipment installation and structure erection i.e ladder, platform, supports etc.
Witness of pressure/leak tests i.e. hydro test/ water fill test, pneumatic, oil leak test, vacum box test.
Responsible for overall implementation of ITP/QIPs and standard procedures/method statements at construction site to ensure compliance of all execution activities and achieve desired objectives.
Prepared/reviewed the final QC dossiers of complete equipment.
Major Responsibilities As Supervisor:-
Arrangement and verification of material as per drawing.
Lay out verification of plates as per drawings.
Distribution of manpower according to work load.
In-process jobs checking.
Co-ordination with client inspector.
