Career Highlights
While at Intergraph, led workshops to document business workflows at the Savannah River Site Utilities Department. Researched systems requirements, performed risk assessments and made recommendations that saved consortium over $8M. Consortium included SAP.
Also with Intergraph, took over a software development project that was several years behind schedule and over-budget. Developed an approach to bring the parties together and agree on an achievable scope of work that allowed the project to conclude. Helped reduce acrimony between Intergraph and its customer.
At Cobb EMC, guided executive management through a multi-year, multiphase project of defining, documenting, acquiring, and implementing a GIS-based electrical engineering design system.
While at PlanGraphics, led teams of consultants through multiple projects for defining business requirements and acquiring a GIS to replace a traditional manual mapping system. Clients included Iowa-Illinois Gas & Electric, San Diego Data Processing Corp, City of Colorado Springs Utilities, Cobb Electric Membership Corp, and the Power Authority of the State of New York.
For Clark County NV (which includes the City of Las Vegas), made a major impact by identifying, documenting, and implementing approaches to updating and maintain land parcel data. Work was done while at PlanGraphics, Inc.
In San Diego County, designed a process to combine address and location data from county records, city records, San Diego Gas & Electric, as well as 911 records. Project identified several types of missing and mismatched entries, and prescribed methods for reconciliation. Work was done at PlanGraphics, Inc.
