Working closely with the customer client (Globalfoundries), I develop and maintain both the Fab and Sub Fab layouts in alignment with Industrial Engineering and Wafer Operations requirements, provide overall Auto CAD drawing modifications to support all Fab Facilities groups (Process Systems, Electric/IC, UPW/IWT, Central Utilities/HVAC, Tool Install/Hookup/PLS, Special Services, Budgeting and Projects) for the fab including Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrument Diagrams, Floor Plans and Plant Maps. I work directly with the tool owners, tool OEMs, contractors, facilities engineering staff, construction management team, and others to ensure correct information is properly captured and included in design packages and data bases. I complete as-built drawings at the completion of projects. Also, revise building drawings for concrete/structural steel modifications. I am the CADD Coordinator for project setup. The responsibilities include obtaining client specific requirements, be the point of contact between disciplines relating to design drawings. This includes Base Plan, Model file and Sheet file set-up. I develop and enforce drafting standards and engineering specifications. I worked on setting up Mechanical part models, assemblies and drawings, migrating parasolids and .step files. I supported Engineers in the re-design of the 300mm Wafer Insulation Module. These Modules were made of a high temp aluminum alloy, beryllium copper and brass for cryogenic purposes. They had to keep their mechanical properties and strength under very low atmospheric pump-downs and then very high bake-outs. I worked with vendors choosing purchased parts, fabricated machined and welded parts. I designed sheet metal enclosures and modified existing ones to accompany enclosure upgrades, and wrote the bills of materials. I did part drawing checking of other Designers and Engineers for correct dimensions, fits, tolerance stack-up and standard note callout. I was responsible for concept creation, product design, product development, project management, product improvement, releasing files created from Autodesk Inventor and stored with the Vault software or Solid Edge Rev17 software.

I designed sheet metal enclosures as well as welded plate enclosures. I designed pre-cast, pre-stressed bays with structural steel to house the instrumentation packages housed within. I made detail drawings for the shop to do the prototype parts. I set up drawing formats and checked drawings for correct callouts and notes.With Excel I set up a form for writing the bills of materials to accompany the assembly drawings.

I was in charge of the procurement of all fabricated and purchased parts. I assisted the assembly technicians in the first time build of the units. To generate the drawing layouts, detail and assembly drawings, I used the Cad software AutoCAD Rev. 14 with Toolbox support. I used Microsoft Excel to help in the tracking of parts, and used Microsoft Word in the writing of the quotes and faxes for the fabricated parts.
