Currently consulting with small to mid-sized business in creating sustained improvements to profitability and cash flow.

PRESIDENT, Camali Industries (NA) Inc. 2001 - 2013

A Tier I global preferred supplier of cosmetic, acoustic and thermal products for vehicles and office environs in the form of molded composites in a class “A” finish.

Originally an asset purchase of the equipment, inventory and a small book of business of about $1.5M. From this base over the next ten years achieved $25M in sales with 140 employees with a main plant in Cambridge and with satellites in Cambridge and Mexico.

As a hands on president with all the expected duties as such I divided my time on a day to day basis 30% sales, 50% manufacturing operations, 20% administration.

Customers were global producers such as Caterpillar, CNH, Fiat, Diamler, Steelcase, construction, etc. and numerous other off-road, truck, bus and industrial and consumer products.

VICE-PRESEDENT/GENERAL MANAGER, Commercial & Industrial Products Group, JET Composites Inc. 1998 – 2001

Member of the senior team with direct responsibility for the strategy, management, and growth of all commercial and industrial products within a larger automotive manufacturer.

Diversified markets including automotive, heavy equipment OEM, heavy truck, specialty vehicles, and construction and architectural products. Provide leadership to the manufacturing team that included quality, plant & production, HR, finance, and engineering. P&L responsibility for the business unit with sales of $25M and a non-unionized workforce of up to 140.

Oversee the merger and integration of Parma with Custom Cryogenic Grinding Corporation to create a diversified rubber and plastics producer for acoustic automotive and industrial applications.

Recruit and build a management team capable of providing leadership in a start-up situation. Create stable manufacturing systems. Develop marketing plans for managed growth. Managed and directed the activities of the business with the objective of providing maximum profit and return on invested capital.
