Served electrician/technician at Nebraska mill, modifying and upgrading electrical equipment for improvement in reliability; Successfully obtained Class A Electrical Contractor’s License from State of Nebraska: then moved to Arkansas to serve as startup electrician, then promoted to E&I Shift Engineer, through commissioning, startup, and profitable production of over 1,700 tons a day of top quality sheet coils. Then took position as Maintenance Superintendent in S.C. Cold Finish Plant, where downtime was over 30%. Within 9 months turned plant around to be 2nd most profitable Cold Finish plant in the Corporation, with over 22% ROI, and less than 4% downtime. Worked with maintenance team, and taught various CMMS skills, and technical skills at mills.
