Assisted physicians with a wide spectrum of endoscopic procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, etc.), which involved pre-procedure duties, patient care, and equipment considerations.
● Set up the procedure room: identified and selected GI instruments required for each procedure, such as endoscopic set-ups, scopes, video equipment, and safe use of electro-surgical units, verified proper functioning of equipment prior to procedure, and ensured the availability of supplies.
● Ensured patient privacy, comfort, and safety throughout the stay; transported and positioned patients for the procedure.
● Ensured the cleanliness, and sterilization/disinfection of endoscopic equipment; provided a sanitary environment for patient care.
