Rehabilitation and Design for Widening an Existing Highway Bridge 02/15 - 05/15

Design a new deck, girders, piers and abutment complied with AASHTO, FHWA and NYSDOT code.

Develop construction sequencing for the entire project, work zones and economical required lane widths

Complete the new deck, stringers design and modification to existing stringers and other details (LRFD).

Accomplish the substructure design with reinforced concrete abutment and approach slab. Used estimate table to draw a cost estimate from pre-construction to post-construction.

My project proposal won the bid with 6 months length and lower estimate cost of $3.2 million among bids in course.

Fuzhou University, Fuzhou, Fujian, China

The Hysteretic Performance Test and Numerical Simulation of T Connection with Backing Plates, Fujian Undergraduate Innovative Experiment Program

Research Assistant and team leader, College of Civil Engineering 05/11 - 06/12

T Connection was made of High-quality Carbon Structural Steel which contains 0.05% 0.70% carbon. and It is equipped between column and girder to absorb earthquake energy. We specialized the shape, material, and fabrication method of T Connection seeking for a better hysteretic Behavior.

Designed the steel components and connections for anti-seismic performance test by using AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Abaqus analysis software.

Fabricated testing models and run loading test and material property test through Instron 1342 Electro-Hydraulic Servo Testing System and SHT4106 Testing System respectively.

Compiled the result and reported to the instructor for closing of the project.

EXPERIENCE: DMR Construction Service, Inc., 160 Hopper Avenue, Waldwick, NJ
