During the last twenty years, I began my career twice as a laborer rapidly advancing through the ranks expanding my role for with a lateral move into EH&S positions at three separate facilities. I have extensive understanding of Industrial (EBAA Iron and International Paper) and Chemical Manufacturing (Georgia Pacific). Chosen by my supervisor to complete a degree program attributable to long-term value creation, scheduling conflicts forced me to change schools and majors from Chemistry to Occupational Safety & Health. I am passionate about safety using the best possible techniques to ensure basic organizational guidelines solve problems in the most sustainable way.. Currently, my role is Operational Risk Manager for Kraft Heinz, Mason City Iowa.
I have applicable experience in both operational management and environmental health and safety covering heavy industrial, assembly, and chemical manufacturing constant with knowledge in the areas of HMMS, PSM, OSHA VPP, MOC, PSSR, JHA, SWPPP, SPCC, along with Toyota Production System experience in the areas of Three Gen (Gemba, Genbutsu, Genjitsu), Muda and the 7 wastes, QCDSM, Kaizan, P&L through departmental budgeting, etc. I am ready to take ownership regarding this leadership position by:
