Apprenticeship – Cochin Shipyard Limited- Worked as Advanced Trainee for Diesel Mechanic( 22-09-2011 to 30-10 - 2012)

Responsibilities:

Working in Ship building, ship repair and U&M.

Overhauling of Diesel Engines, Auxiliary Engines, Compressors, pumps, etc.

Handling lifting tools and tackles.

Erection and commissioning of Main Engine, Auxiliary Machineries,

Propellers and Maintenance of Cranes.

Also capable to Repair and Commissioning of Marine Diesel Engines, Diesel

Generators, Gear Boxes, Compressors, Purifiers, Ship Propulsion system, etc.

Repairing and Installation of various types of Valves and Associated Piping.

Some cases, need to predictive maintenance by checking the sound or

vibration or output of various marine systems, and also attend Quality

Assurance Survey comments.
