INTRODUCTION
Imagine with me that my life is recorded on 9,855 pages, a page for every day of my life. Flipping my book over, the summary etched on the back cover would most likely prompt you to thumb through to chapter 23 where you learn about experiences in Guatemala and Honduras that expose my freshly heightened compassions and vulnerabilities. Upon graduating in the college of engineering I knew that my underlying passions in life were directing me towards a medical path. Living in a third world country solidified my heart’s desire to help people at their most exigent times. My capacity to understand this did not completely develop until I contracted a third world parasite. Prior to discovering I was a victim of a bot fly to three places on my body, I had spent three months learning Spanish in Guatemala. After leaving Guatemala I traveled to Honduras where I noticed the three pimples surfacing on my skin. Throughout a 5-day period my condition progressively worsened and I finally went under, for the purpose of lancing the boils (no longer pimples); and by under, I simply mean I laid under the top bunk, while a nurse cut into my sores. After forty-five minutes the nurse concluded that we needed to drive an hour to the nearest doctor. The Honduran doctor extracted larvae and gave me antibiotics for a staph infection. After healing and living a month in Honduras filling food sacks and shadowing in a medical clinic, I contracted a second staph infection that grew across my entire upper thigh. Within 24 hours I found myself blessed with a plane ticket home to the United States. I was blessed and humbled to receive excellent medical care, but more importantly I learned about the joy of giving and pouring out your blessings to help others. Loving both medicine and what I do, I am thrilled to continue to use my gift to bless people. Life tells a story, and mine doesn’t stop at 23. Excitement escalates as I continue to discover who I am through my experiences. Currently beginning chapter 27, I am confident and eager to continue loving people while taking care of health needs.

ABOUT ME
I was born in Brenham and raised in Conroe Texas with loving parents and two older siblings. I joyfully followed family tradition by graduating from Texas A&M, but I did not follow suit working the AMERICAN DREAM with the perfect engineering career. Instead, I moved to Honduras for medical, spiritual, agricultural, and educational mission experience. Knowing I love surgical medical missions, serving, and loving people I am now living my AMERICAN DREAM in the field of Physician Assistant. I am 27 years old, single without children and desire to live in Texas to be near my family. I am flexible and will relocate for the right position. I enjoy being outdoors, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
