Caracol Knits is an ISO1400-certified knit, dye, cut textile manufacturing plant in the Fruit of the Loom full-package sourcing network. Supervised 10 mechanical/operators to oversee 6 boilers (1,200 HP each) and 12 compressors (250 HP each) with a total steam production capacity of 120,000 pounds per hour. Steam was utilized to maintain weekly production of 3.5 million pounds of finished fabric. (PdM) along 2,000 meters of steam distribution piping and compressed air lines in the knit, dye, cut textile manufacturing plant. I engaged in continuous two-month cycle reviewing plant production systems on a daily basis, analyzing results and creating reports to assure successful 24-hour operation of steam and pneumatic systems.
