Skills
I have great management skills as well as great verbal and written communication skills. Working on multiple projects at once is strength of mine. I find it important to talk with employees and residents to have a better understanding of what is needed as well as forming relationships and showing appreciation. I am very goal oriented and always put forth all my effort. I love any challenge and taking on new goals. I have a great history with annual surveys and decreasing deficiencies. I have never had more than 3 minor f tags. I have a history of collecting large debts from residents/families who owed the facility and keeping current residents bills current. I also have a history of staying under budget and making money for the facility.
Past Work
Legacy Living Centers Lindsay Manor Nursing Home
Administrator: October 2013- current
Administrative Internship
I did an internship at the Department of Corrections hospital in Lindsay, Oklahoma for hospital administration. I wrote and reviewed policies for the facility which has entailed research. I also worked with each department and helped improve areas that needed adjustments and I learned every department’s job and everyday occurrences they dealt with. This internship taught me valuable information in administration as a whole that I will use in future jobs.
Volunteer / Community Service 2000-2014
Halloween Carnival
The facility now hosts an annual Halloween Carnival for the community.
Relay for Life
I served as the game committee chair the last two years. I was responsible for organizing and coordinating the events/games for the entire twelve hours for all age groups. Relay for Life is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for research to find a cure for cancer.
Appreciation Dinner for Emergency Responders 2012
I currently finished putting together a dinner for all fire fighters, police officers, and emt’s. This dinner was to honor and thank the individuals and their families for their service to the community. We had RSVPs and are planning for 200 people. I helped get gifts together and nice door prizes to give out that night.
Christmas at the Mansion Several years
I sang and helped put on an event for children and adults to come and see the historical Lindsay Mansion, learn about history, and see Santa Claus.
