Title

Rainfall Analysis using Remote Sensing Data.

Description

The high resolution satellite data is retrieved and processed in super computer and the parameters are well understood by studying multi-scale analysis both in time and spatial. The different modules of the satellite data, data format, algorithms to retrieve the data, manage the data base and analysis of weather and climate parameters are presented.

Activities/Achievements:

The Project entitled “Rainfall Analysis using Remote Sensing Data” is carried out at the CSIR Fourth Paradigm Institute (CSIR-4PI), NAL Belur Campus, Bengaluru-37.

A technical paper entitled “Rainfall Analysis using Remote Sensing Data” was presented in National Conference on VLSI, Communication and Signal Processing-2015(NCVCS-2015), in RajaRajeswari College of Engineering, Bengaluru-74.

Participated in statewide Engineering IT Quiz “TCS TECH BYTES” held in Mysore organized by the Board of IT Education Standards(BITES) and Tata Consultancy Services.
