I am applying for the position of registered nurse at your facility. Having gained considerable professional insight through the observation and experience gained in my clinical placements, I have been able to see first-hand that this leads to better health outcomes whilst promoting patient safety.

My Bachelor of Nursing degree at the University of Western Sydney has given me an excellent understanding of interdisciplinary care models, professional communication strategies, working within my scope of practice, recognising clinical deterioration and escalation of care as required through the detect protocol, importance of infection control, medication safety. During my clinical placements, I learned a range of nursing skills, while developing the ability to critically think and apply nursing theory to practice. In addition to this, I also possess 4 years experience in taking care of the elderly as an AIN and CSE from which I have developed skills on delivering the best levels of care to the patient.

I am punctual, sincere and very dedicated to work as well as I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and work well with in an interdisciplinary team where I can confidentially follow clinical orders within my scope of practice and believe I can add value to the nursing care for patients at this facility.
