DLH industries, Inc. (Now; dlhBOWELS) (500+ Employees – Multistate locations)

As HR director responsible for: the entire employee process. Legal issues: general, labor, environmental and civil. Overall safety. New building construction, building renovation, real estate acquisitions, and lease contracts. Corporate representative for ISO-14001 audits and recertification (ISO-14001 is an International Environmental Standard). (Automotive parts manufacturer.)

As consultant responsible for auditing: TS-16949, ISO-9001, and ISO-14001 across all departments and locations. Plus consulting in all matters HR related. (DLH is a manufacturer of automotive OEM parts, off-road parts, industrial, commercial and medical products, as well. Operating on a multistate platform out of several locations.)

Note: I left full-time employment on 6-30-11 and began consulting the following day.

1983-1986 Plant Manager

Flex Technologies (Baltic assembly - 187 employees)

Responsible for: P&L performance, product quality, on time delivery and up time. Day to day operations. Employee satisfaction and performance. The plant was in a financial loss situation when I assumed control. By the third month: profitable and remained so through my time there. (Automotive parts manufacturer.)

1971-1983 Vice President

Kentak Product Company (30 employees)

Responsible for: day-to-day operations, machine uptime and maintenance activities. While in High School, started out sweeping floors and was promoted through various departments and activities. (Kentak manufactures extruded thermoplastic tubing primarily for the medical industry.)

1979-1983 General Manager

K-Mac Plastics Company (20 employees)

K-Mac was a wholly owned subsidiary of Kentak. Kentak purchased K-Mac out of bankruptcy and I was appointed the responsibility of returning the company to profitability, which I did. (K-Mac manufactures thermoplastic extruded products for the industrial, consumer and commercial industries.)

Kent State University 2-years, Malone College (University) 1-year, Mount Vernon Nazarene College (University) 2-years
