1. Project Name : Compressed Air Vehicle

Project Description
:
The basic principle to make a car run is to utilize the energy stored in a compressed gas inside the cylinder. The car has a tank(3200cub. ft.) of compressed air. The vehicle’s accelerator operates a valve on its tank that allows the air to relax into a pipe which goes in the engine where the pressure of the air’s expansion pushes the piston & turns the crankshaft which generates enough power to run car at moderate speed.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING / INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
6 weeks Industrial Training in Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(Swaraj Division)PTL, Mohali, in June-July 2014.
oExperienced all the activities in the Assembly Line and worked on the project named ‘Assembly Line’. Apart from the project I experienced the various activities in the Light Machine Shop in Swaraj Engine Division while going through the training period.
Mainly I worked on two benches:
oQuick assembly of all parts at assembly line..
oAccurate Cutting measurements of gears at LMS.
6 weeks C Langauge Training in MACS, Mohali in Nov-Dec 2012.
oLearned various programming development techniques, loops & control statements, functions, arrays, structures, enumerators, file handling etc.
