The welder welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions. The welder utilizes knowledge characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials including the specifications of the particular equipment to be used in the process. In the sequence of work activities, the welder’s job follows that of the fitters, welding together structural components that have previously been tacked into places.

Well experienced in different kinds of welding process.

Performed stict welding (SMAW) using Electrode E71018, 7016, E6010 and 6010.

Performed Tig welding (GTAW) stainless steel and carbor steel pipe, tube, structural and steel platform.

Knowledge in Oxy Acetylene cutting, welding and brazing.

Performed welding based on approved specification.

Examine weld for bead size and other specification.

Weld in plat and vertical planes (all position welding)

Grind or clean weld joint or work piece.

Application of safe welding and cutting practices.
