Evaluating condition of all machinery items when received at the shipyard for conformance to technical specification.
Responsible for attendance and witnessing of all machinery dock trails and commissioning trials
Analyzing machinery parameters to check proper performance of installed machinery and systems.
Ensuring all safety regulations related to construction and machinery installations are met.
Tracking work progress, installation schedules and cardinal schedules.
Monitoring Piping layouts in machinery spaces and ensuring that layouts meet proper design standards, minimum bends, proper clamping and supports.& avoid reworks
Checking and verifying if main engines and principal machinery,chock-fasting pouring is carried out correctly.
Accountable for verifying shaft line sighting,alignment and trueness, machinery tolerances, recording the same for future reference
