SUMMARY:
Senior Mechanical MEP Project Engineer with strong mechanical design experience, where analytical and problem solving skills in Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics have produced accurate and reliable HVAC/R, Piping, Utilities, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems. Extensive corporate and contract consulting experience working in the Utility field. Produced total layout and sizing of buildings domestic water and plumbing systems, heat load analysis, sizing and layout of duct and pipe for buildings HVAC, and equipment sizing, specifications, selection, and layout. Designed centralized chiller and boiler facilities which included pumps, heat exchangers, cooling towers and air compressors at industrial plants. Completed design of all piping for chilled / hot / cooling tower water, steam / condensate, and compressed air for industrial HVAC systems. Provided equipment sizing and layout ventilation design that included customized air handling units. Many clients required a total design cost estimate prepared (including control system) to compare against contractor bid prices. Consistently checked entire Mechanical design for compliance to American engineering design codes and standards for all projects. Proficient in AutoCAD & MicroStation, Trane Trace & Carrier HAP, MicroSoft Office Suite.
