Facility and maintenance supervisor for 2nd and 3rd shifts addressing all facilities and personnel issues to ensure productivity levels were maintained at 95%.
Developed and implemented lean training courses for 60 hourly and salaried direct and indirect associates, improving production and machine up-time efficiency from below 74% to 95%.

ENGINEERING
Machine design for manufacturer of pulp mill equipment.
Actively performed as project manager and designer for St. Regis Midox England for Tequila.
Design, quote, and requisition equipment necessary to obtain engineering goals.
Mechanical designer for mechanical and electromechanical products.
Responsible for implementation of engineering designs into the production line, including creating and updating work routers, ensuring initial design integrity and customer requirements are met.

CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Managed and implemented the various stages of Six-Sigma Lean principles and process for both BFGoodrich and Honeywell International increasing throughput and machine up-time.
Established and supported the transitioning to a single source/supplier for all shipping, receiving, stockroom and warehouse materials which resulted in streamlining processes and a 20% reduction in material cost.
Planned and implemented the relocation/move of various production cells and layouts.
Integrated Efficiency Improvement Team (EIT) process improvement into the Paint Room which resulted in a 3457.5 PPM. (The Paint Room ran 271,000 pcs. thru the paint room with only 937 rejections).
Planned, implemented and supported the transitioning of key parts to an outside source which resulted in a cost savings of 80k.
Lead and Co-lead various teams to conduct Lean Events such as Prevented Maintenance (PM), Total Production Maintenance (TPM), Set-Up/Changer-Over Reduction, 5’s and Layout Design.
Planned and implemented in-line right sizing of packaging (decreased packaging cost) for high volume products which increased the products thought-put.
Established and implemented cycle count in the stockroom to 95% efficiency.
Teamed up with production team, M.E., and I.E. to implement manufacturing work instructions (MWI) to decrease learning curve for new associates.
