Position: Cargo Operation Controller from 12th July 2014 till date

My Job responsibilities:

Prepare Load Plan / Truck Load Plan

Coordinate with GHA (Ground Handling Agent) for Loading of cargo

Monitor Loading of Cargo at the Warehouse and Aircraft bay

Look into Export and Import Discrepancies of Airline

Prepare GHA Deviations report

Coordinate with Dnata ULD Department

Handle all telephone calls and pass them to the concerned person

Make Bookings in ACCOS and reply to the customer

Dock Bookings / Execution of AWB’s for Walk-in Customers

Update Rate request / Freight booking details in CALOGI

Check and investigate invoices of Dnata & PWC and forward to Customer Service / Auditor for further process

Maintain stock of AWB’s

Send & check telex

My Job Responsibilities:

Stock Inventory for ensuring proper identification & rectification of warehouse irregularities.

Making sure that all the warehouse stock checks are done accurately.

Ensuring all Discrepancies are clearly checked for each flight in terms of missing cargo and accurate information is passed on to Airlines.

Solving various discrepancies by sending Telexes to Origin and Destination.

Providing Airline/Cargo Agencies with accurate information about their shipments status.

Communicating on e-mails making sure that all are well aware of the current changes, deviations or difficult problems occurring in the shift.

Breakdown area deals with Cargo arriving from different countries, taking Manifest from the SA and Segregating the ULD as per the Manifest, Priority shipments to be taken care of first.

Check out the actual time of arrival and accordingly plan out the work for passenger flight within 06 hours of closing the flight and 08 hours for Cargo flight.

Build up area deals with sending of cargo to different countries. Taking load plan and the Build-up list from the SA and plan accordingly
