Work Responsibilities in SAB Miller India Ltd:

Job Profile:

Planning:

•Consult the Packaging Manager about the weekly plan and based on that plan daily all shift operations.

•Consult daily with Filtration with regard to beer availability / quality and volume.

•Raw material requisition to stores based on daily production plan.

•Support in developing and implementing the plans for cost control & reduction of wastages in shifts.

•Implementing improvement plans on GMP, GHK & safety.

•Manpower management and shift scheduling.

•Plan overtime in consultation with HR in his respective shift so as to reduce manpower cost.

Optimum Process Performance:

• Ensure the process control standards are met .

•Ensure best scores for IQMS, PPQA, TPO.

•Ensure that the targeted production volumes & productivity are achieved.

•Ensure that all the targeted packaging material losses are within specified limits.

•Ensure optimum utilization of available manpower for packaging.

•To maintain the required communication and information systems regarding production, packaging material losses, breakdown & maintenance to superiors and management.

•Coordination with other departments such as brewing and engineering to ensure smooth operations for the day.

•To ensure that the quality of products meets the specifications and take corrective action where required while ensuring volumes & productivity are met.

•Develop the ownership of quality at operator level via short interval control (SIC ) checks, documented on line.

•Ensure syspro jobs are created daily without any deviation.

Optimum Plant & Equipment Availability:

• Effective operation of packaging plant to ensure that products are produced to the quality and cost requirements.

•To analyze the performance of the machines in consultation with the Packaging Manager & the operators and identify the causes of potential failures & develop appropriate maintenance task schedules to prevent future failures.

•Implement the daily, weekly & monthly CLIT schedule and review & update it using failure analysis and the 5 why problem solving technique and job cards closing.

•To do down time analysis using fish bone diagrams and root cause analysis reports.

•Implementing M-Way foundation practices on floor.

•Focus on autonomous maintenance (ATM)

Maintain Safe & Healthy Work Environment:

• To supervise hygiene & house keeping for the shift as per the House keeping Schedule & maintain a clean work place.

Review and updation of housekeeping checklist.

•To identify any safety hazards in the operation and updation in HIRA and Aspect Impact.

•Follow and maintain 5S. Weekly 5S audit of shop floor with Manager and preparation of mitigation action plans of abnormalities.

•To lead the monthly Safety Meetings and work out action plans based on the suggestions along with the HOD & HR.

•To ensure PPE compliance.
