Administer the total financial picture of the services to maximize income and minimize expenses. Plan and implement ongoing quality and performance improvements in lab service areas to maximize personnel engagement while supporting of the mission of Children’s. Designed and implemented the communication plan for the laboratory to promote employee understanding, involvement and commitment to the department’s functional support of the children. Laboratory Workflow Specialist: Helped customers throughout the U.S. analyze and improve their histology workflow processes utilizing Lean six-sigma strategies. Value stream mapping, spaghetti diagrams of workflow using Visio 3 and time study analyses were performed routinely.
