Network Integration Engineer

RNC Pooling: Worked on ALU MSS for RNC on IuoIP Migration to ALU MSS Pool in T-Mobile network

Migration preparation: CIQ review and correction, CLI scripts generation. Control Plane: verified the

remote RNC SCTP endpoint PC, IP Address, RNC IP Network and Subnet Mask in MSS SCTP routing

table. User Plane - verified MSS UTRAN IP Trunk Group, National Tree Selector, Network Type, DPC

and OPC, Original Route Modifier and Lata Number. Performed cutover with T-Mobile

IuCS/IP Migration : Migration of IuCS interface from ATM to IP over Ethernet on the 3rd party RNC

to ALU MSS for T-Mobile.

Migration cutover – Worked with RNC vendor on ATM AAL2 path shutdown, cutover CP/UP to IP in

MSC. Verified 3G calls for each VoIP TrunkGroup. Reset and delete AAL2 paths.

ATCA Deployment : Performed Call Server hotslide from T2K to ATCA on T-Mobile site.

SIP VoIP 611 Deployment: Analyzed existing VSM type . Performed in-service upgrade and AAL2 re-

distribution in 3G traffic on 7540 WMG. Performed GigE card in-service MSC upgrade. Enabling SIP

Function on T2K 5060 CallServer IPM.

Determined upgrade path and baseline with VO to mimic customers’ network environments.

Core network call testing implementation. Applied the knowledge in GSM call flow, LU, HLR inquiry,

Sprint PCS project - Integrated Nortel DMS MSC into Sprint PCS 3G Network in North Central Region

Provided on-site technical support & training during and after cutover from Motorola EMX to Nortel DMS.
