EXPERIENCE
Solution Engineer, Ericsson Inc. (Jan 2010 – May 2014)
Lead Engineer responsible for the end-to-end management of Sprint’s 3G/4G Network modernization for the South/Southwest markets. Primary point of contact for all issues. Managed, monitored and controlled all engineering schedule and deliverables.
Successfully engineered, designed and analyzed the end-to-end network build out of the 3G and 4G wireless networks consisting of the Packet CORE, EPC/MME/SPGW and the Radio Access Networks (RAN/LTE) in multiple sites. Prime contact for validating and testing SS7 connectivity.
Successfully managed multiple projects by proactively monitoring and controlling engineering deliverables, customer conflicts and communicating issues to key project stakeholder.
Established close relationships with various internal and external groups to make sure projects were completed on time with a high level of quality.
Helped resolve network issues by troubleshooting hardware and IP configuration issues during system integration and turn up.
Sr. Network Engineer, NORTEL Networks Inc. (Jan 2006 – Dec 2009)
Responsibilities involved creating the hardware design, assigning the logical IP Sub-netting designs for 3G CORE, BSC and EVDO equipment with key involvement in the deployment and integration planning for the Sprint South Central region. Prepared and presented detailed engineering documents, plans, timelines, and project deliverables to installations and integration staff for system build.
Prime contact for generating and validating the Inter Switch Software Handoff (ISSHO) scripts, Logical IP Planning, EVDO and network connectivity between neighboring Base Station Controller (BSC/BTS) and CORE switch.

Functioned as the primary engineering interface to Frontier, COX, XO Communication and Charter Communications and other MSO accounts for the planning, engineering and provisioning of Nortel’s switches providing voice, data and VOIP services.
Analyzed customer system/network forecasting inputs along with Nortel provisioning documents to configure software, hardware, and IP addressing scheme and system parameters per customer’s requirement.
