Project Description: CUNA Mutual Group is a leader in providing financial, lending & insurance solutions to Credit Unions and its members worldwide. One such solution is LOANLINER® DOCUMENT SOLUTIONS. Lending Forms Optimization is a multi-million dollar project which focuses on revitalizing CUNA Mutual Group’s LOANLINER lending and payment protection business. It was implemented in 2 phases. The scope of Phase 1 was to implement NetSuite as their front end system which replaces their legacy system OMS (order management system) for ordering lending and insurance forms. Phase 2 was to automate the process of fulfilling & generating the documents via xPression software which eliminates the existing manual process.

Responsibilities:

Lead the QA effort for ERP NetSuite & Forms Automation projects

Lead a team of 15-20 offshore resources with daily status calls & co-ordination

Worked in Waterfall/Agile methodology

Performed Functional, System Integration, Data Migration, Form Validation testing efforts

Review all Testing Deliverables (Test Plan, Test Estimates, Test Cases, Daily Status Reports)

Worked with Automation team to automate reusable flows for regression testing & executed automated scripts as part of Test Execution using HP QTP

Worked with Performance testing team in load, stress & volume testing

Co-ordinated the end to end testing lifecycle of the project with various teams – Business, IT, Third party vendors (Baker Tilly, Go Virtual office, EMC)

Project Timelines: June 2011 – May 2013

Project Description: loanliner.com® is a web enabled lending tool from CUNA Mutual Group used by credit union members to apply for loans online. CUNA Mutual Group wanted to expand loan applications for mobile platform. With Smartphone Loans® technology and AskAuto® mobile app, the credit union members can apply for a loan anytime, anywhere while enjoying a faster, more customized loan application experience. The AskAuto® mobile app shows personalized loan rates based on the car dealership location where the user is shopping. Since 2011, members have used our Smartphone Loans program to apply for over $2 billion in loans using a mobile device. And volume has doubled in just the last year!

Responsibilities:

Lead the QA effort for implementing Smartphone Loans® technology and testing AskAuto® app

Lead a team of 8 offshore resources with daily co-ordination of status reports

Performed System & Mobile testing for the AskAuto® app

Used variety of Mobile Devices (iPhone, iPad, Samsung, Google Nexus 7) for testing

Used Mobile Simulators & Emulators to capture obvious bugs/defects in 1st round of testing

Used Google Maps, MTestLocale to test the location based services of the AskAuto® app

Went to Car Dealership in Madison WI area to test the location based services to view whether the user are able to get personalized loan rates

Worked with the Performance engineering team to test for security and performance issues

End to End test management for the project with HP Quality Center ALM

Project 3: loanliner.com® - Online Lending

Role: Multiple Roles - Senior QA Analyst, QA Analyst

Client: CUNA Mutual Group – Chennai, India

Project Timelines: Aug 2006 – May 2011

Project Description: loanliner.com® is a web enabled lending tool from CUNA Mutual Group used by credit union members to apply for loans online. loanliner.com® blends seamlessly with the credit union's website. loanliner.com® automates the online loan submission process. The focus of this project is to enable a Credit Union to build their individual loan application with various Protection options, Decision options, Document sets, Calculator and a link for the member to submit their loan request. The various modules associated in this project are Order Fulfillment, Folder Manager, Site Builder, Presenter and Report Manager. ORDER FULFILLMENT is an internal tool used by CUNA Mutual to set up the loanliner.com® service for Credit Unions. The loan forms and protection packages are customized in SITE BUILDER. PRESENTER application is used to submit the loan forms. FOLDER MANAGER is used by the loan officer to submit the loan form through presenter on behalf of the member. REPORT MANAGER is a tool used to generate different types of report for the Credit Unions depending upon the products the credit union possess.

Responsibilities:

Worked as senior team member to review business requirements and raise clarifications

Prepared Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Estimates, Staffing Plan, Test Cases, Test Summary report

Performed Test Execution of all functionalities and used HP Quality Center ALM as the test management tool

Performing root cause analysis of the defects/bugs

INNOVATIONS:

QC Xtractor – Developed a tool in MS Excel to automate the process of generating Daily & Weekly status reports from Quality Center. The tool will extract test cases & defect details to generate clear and concise reports for the project team. Technology: VB Macros using QC API.

Live-Status Report – Developed a tool for CUNA Mutual Group testing management to show the current status of all testing projects in one single repository. Technology: VB Macros
