Ambassador’s Protection Detail (Oct. 2013 – Present)

Faithfully provide close protection to U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Stuart E. Jones as a member of his security advance team by safely securing venues prior to his arrival at high-risk venues throughout Baghdad.

Served on numerous protective details for VIPs such as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Iraq and Iran Bret McGurk, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey, Gen. Lloyd Austin, United States Central Command commander, and Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.).

Conduct technical site surveys of venues to effectively design security protocols that ensure secure environments for the ambassador and other VIPs.

Responsible for establishing and monitoring radio communications with the embassy’s Tactical Operations Center, the ambassador’s protection detail and team members using a variety of tactical communications systems.
