ABSTRACT :

The proposed framework is to develop “HOSTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” for managing various activities in the hostel. This particular project deals with the problems on managing a hostel and avoids the problems which occur when carried manually.

This proposed work overcome drawbacks of the existing system. ÿ Human error

ÿ Strength and strain of manual labour can be reduced ÿ High security

ÿ Data redundancy can be avoided to some extent

ÿ Easy record keeping

ÿ Backup data can be easily generated
