Perspective Employer:

Position Applied for: Senior Instrumentation/Electronic Technician

Stop, your search is over. It appears I been looking for you and you been looking for me. I’ve been waiting since 1994 for an opportunity such as yours, thats when I retired from the Air Force. Please read my resume and I think you’ll agree, I’m your guy!

I managed the Mystic Star Presidential Radio Maintenance workcenter at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. This highly visible Air Force mission provides all communications to Air Force One. Yes, that was me. My five work centers and I provided communications to the President, United States (voice, secure voice and data), Senators and Congressman, and Foreign Dignitaries. I never had a mission failure. Built in the 1980’s and delivered in 1988. Only highly motivated supervisors, manage this one-of-a-kind, worldwide network communications maintenance work center, for the Air Force.

I'm a Journeyman electronics technician with technical experience on numerous communications and electronics

equipment and systems. Specifically; AM, FM, and SSB Radio Systems, Microwave and Satellite Systems,

Recording and Multiplexing Systems, Computer Systems (Personal, Mainframe and Laptops), Maintenance Patch

Facilities, Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems, Digital and Analog modems, T1 - T3 Carrier Systems,

WAN/LAN experience, various communications console systems, graphics processors and associated equipment,

data trackers, and Digital Switching Systems. I have technical experience on a variety of telephone line conditioning

equipment, and I possess exceptional verbal, and written, communications skills.

Since retiring in 1994, I have gained experience in instrumentation for drilling operations, amusement game maintenance and repair, installation and maintenance support for Fuel Management Systems, and communications equipment installation practices and procedures in US West, AT&T, ALCATEL, Siemens, and Ameritek Central Telephone Exchanges nation wide

Having worked in the oil field for the last eleven years, I would like to continue that trend for the next ten years. The company I work for now (Canrig Drilling Technologies), is going through a serious economic down trend, caused by low oil prices. I’ve always liked being a field technician and I believe your company would build and foster that interest into retirement. As you can see I’m a versatile technician, self starter, and extremely motivated!

Sincerely

Joseph F. Hazel
