Director of Human Resources (2013-Current)

Responsible for all aspects of the companies Human Resource functions. Duties include compliance with the full range of employment law, development and implementation company policy, development of company incentive programs, development of an employee performance matrix, benefit administration and the development instructional design. I am responsible for hiring and termination decisions and maintaining multi-location site discipline. Multi State, multi-site management responsibility

When I joined the organization in mid-year 2013, the company was at a -.09 profit deficit year over year. With the introduction of multiple, key policies, we were able to turn a negative deficit into 8% company growth by the end of 2013 which is the first time the company experienced growth since 2007.

Additionally, we experienced 20% company growth in 2014. Year to date growth for 2015 is 10%.

Riding off of the momentum in 2013 and 2014, with the implementation of additional company policies, we are currently experiencing company growth of approximately 10% year to date.

Key executive in the companies’ strategic decision making process and development of company Human Resource policy.

Rydell Auto Group

National Client Manager General Motors Division (2008-2013)

I was responsible for acquiring, servicing and growing national accounts for the General Motors Surplus division. I have been an integral part of a small team responsible for the Rydell Auto Group being the largest parts distributor of Original Equipment Manufactured parts in the nation. The role required a comprehensive understanding of the General Motors processes for producing, housing, logistics and supply chain management of GM’s products. Over a five year period, I have grown a multi-million dollar project designed to be Rydell’s number one profit stream.

• Key player in the growth and development of the project including progressive enhancements and client relations.

• Implemented a Quality Assurance Program customized for our industry and the customers we serve.

• Instrumental in the strategic planning process that developed a strategy that will grow revenues from 30 million dollars in 2012 to 50 million dollars in revenue by 2014.

• Hand selected employee to be a part of the exclusive Continuous Improvement Team.

• Key link in a 3 person team that has made Rydell the largest parts supplier in the nation out of 4900 GM dealers.

Peak Nutrition LLC.

Human Resource Manager (Generalist) (2004 - 2008)

Responsible for all Human Resource functions. Responsibilities included recruiting and retention, training, staff relations, employee development, benefits administration, drug testing, policy and procedure development, employee handbook development and maintenance of site discipline and documentation. Required working knowledge of legal and regulatory issues such as EEO compliance and laws regarding at will employment.

• Instrumental in the reduction of site attrition by hiring strong employees through solid recruiting practices.

Access Direct Inc.

Center Manager (2002 - 2004)

Responsible for the management of a customer service call center with 100 seats and nearly 200 employees. As in previous positions, the position included the indirect management of several ancillary departments including Training, Human resources, Quality Assurance as well as direct management of all Supervisory and Management personnel. Additional duties included the hiring, training and development of all management personnel, making all hiring and termination decisions, maintaining site discipline, coordination of daily staff meetings, identifying center trends to assist in generating additional revenues in all areas, managing the site budget and constant motivation of my staff.

• Instrumental in the start up of this new operation.

• In my time at the Cedar Falls site, we exceeded revenue goals set in our strategic plan by 20% in two years.
