Recruitment Specialist – International Safeguards Project Office (ISPO): Upton, NY May 2010 – Dec 2012
Provided support for AMCITS living and working in Vienna, Austria for the International Organizations at the Vienna International Center (VIC).
Researched, designed and prepared content of 5 new pages for the ISPO website that would assist the newcomer and family in Vienna.
Researched, designed and prepared content for two brochures that would assist the accompanying partner of the appointee while living in Vienna.
Revised, added content, maintained, and managed the BNL/ISPO website and the U.S. Vienna website www.usvienna.com with material pertaining to assisting Americans living and working in Vienna, Austria.
Coordinated and organized a workshop in collaboration with DOE, DOS, the U.S. Mission, ANL and BNL to assist the U.S. citizen living and working in Vienna, Austria (www.bnl.gov/aiov). Responsibilities included writing a proposal, recruiting speakers and vendors, securing the venue, hiring a videographer, managing status meetings and budgets. I planned and organized an evening reception at the home of the U.S. Ambassador to International Organizations in Vienna, Glyn Davies.
Started the first American Club at the VIC for U.S. citizens working in the International Organizations www.aiovclub.org. This entailed writing statutes and organizing a committee. I became the first Club President in history.
Authored several documents after the Workshop: Lessons Learned, Workshop Summary report for the 2012 INMM annual conference, and a full report on the Workshop in accordance with a proposal and contract with ISPO and DOE. Compiled and developed a list of follow up action items from the workshop survey.
Organized continual follow-up of action items from the Workshop for the Americans, such as; social events and brown bag lunches with topics of concern.
International Atomic Energy Agency – Department of Safeguards, Division of Technical Support
Documentation Specialist-Technical Writer: Vienna, Austria Jun 2011 – Jul 2012
Coordination and organizing of the 2011 Annual General Conference for the Department of Safeguards (SG) including video interviews with Division Heads.
Implemented migration of electronic documents from the equipment information system (AIIS) to the new document management system (DM). Updated hyperlinks, reduced document size, verified usability, updated metadata and classifications, and reorganized documents in network folders.
Created a file structure in LiveLink to migrate sensitive documents from a share directory to a protected electronic environment.
Updated Wikipedia’s on the SharePoint site and managed content in the SG Portal (powered by SharePoint).
Prepared and stored documents on the SharePoint site for remote access and onsite staff.
Created new document templates with instructions, in MS Word. The templates were created for guidance and used as a pre-formatted structure for authors of papers.

Created an interactive electronic Division Office Calendar on the ITD website for viewing among staff. Posted daily.
