HID Global sells to a variety of markets that include physical access control, IT security, and government ID for a range of applications in a diverse range of verticals such as Banking, Government, Education, Healthcare and Enterprise.

As Director of Segment Marketing, I am responsible for driving growth through the development and execution of a segment plan. Strategies within that plan include optimal positioning of new product solutions, global campaigns, demand generation and customized initiatives with our partners around the world to drive business growth and protect current installed base.

Working alongside Sales and Product Marketing, develop and deliver targeted campaigns that drive awareness in targeted territories and verticals. Develop actionable campaigns with strategies that cross all parts of the buyer?s journey, considering both existing and prospective customers with a clear focus on quality execution and results. Competencies include developing an over-arching strategic plan including objectives, success measurement, assets development expectations, timeline, interlocks and spend, targeting and execution. Develop promotions to enable sales and partners with campaign-aligned content and collateral. Support sales and partners with knowledge, training, and leadership to drive profitable business results.

I had the unique opportunity to take the company through the journey of forming a new Segment Marketing team within the organization, each dedicated expert focused on cross-enterprise strategies for their particular line of business and providing scale to that segments revenue targets.

Director of Marketing

LaserCard was a publicly traded company that delivered highly secure credentialing programs to Governments all over the world. The solutions served a very diverse eco-system of partners all in very different roles. As Director of Marketing, my role was to help drive awareness and bring new business into a crowded market, and ultimately sell the company to a larger player through acquisition. We were successful; LaserCard was acquired by HID Global.

As a global player, the channel varied; creative and customized initiatives were built with each channel in mind -- all with different objectives, strategies and success metrics. I was responsible for developing initiatives which included reputation building over long sales cycles, demand generation, sales enablement and information gleaned from market intelligence into our solution stories.

I was also responsible for delivering global sales training events built to suit the needs of the various the types of opportunities in their pipeline. I owned all events and PR, managing 15-25 Global trade events per year. This included setting budget, outlining objectives, determining strategies, articulating the vision internally, and managing the event through to post event wrap up, including a special emphasis on ROI to help gauge the effectiveness.

2006 ? 2009 Vidient Systems, Inc Santa Clara, CA

Marketing Director

Vidient Systems was a venture-funded start up in the high-tech security market with a software solution. My role as Marketing Director was to work alongside the engineering team to launch a revolutionary video-analytics software solution to the marketplace. I reported directly to the CEO and focused on building and driving the company messages into an emerging market. I also owned assessing the competition and recommending tactics to differentiate ourselves and meet our goal of winning market leadership in this space. Note: Vidient Systems provided video analytics software through a SaaS model to security Integrators and Re-Sellers.

2003-2006 Synfora Inc (purchased by Synopsys) Mountain View, CA

Marketing Manager

Synfora was a start-up formed and funded in January 2003. I was with Synfora nearly from the moment funded through initial seed money through Series C round. As marketing manager, I recommend, outlined, managed and completed a number of marketing and business development programs including to gain market traction, close sales and ultimately sell the company to a larger player through acquisition. We were successful; Synfora was purchased by Synopsys in 2006. Note: Synfora provided EDA solutions through both a conventional licensing model and through a SaaS model to chip designers in the Chip Industry.
