Calc & Measurements (Prometheus)

Organization: Siemens Healthcare Private Limited.

A verification and Validation application developed in Visual Studio 2012 for testing the Calc & Measurements of an Ultrasound modality.

The components involved in this application loads all the available requirements for Abdominal, Renal and OB-Gyn application from a requirement matrix excel file which then exports all the requirements to xml files.

The .Net object model component then reads and loads all the related information into in memory using serialization of objects which will give performance when loading larger data.

This information is needed by the other components in order to perform measurements based on the application selected in the GUI. This application also comprises a report module which displays the corresponding Patient information, Calc & measurement data performed towards a patient under study.

Software DVR (Digital Video Recorder)

Organization: Siemens Healthcare Private Limited.

A C++ prototype component developed in Visual Studio 2012 on top of the Desktop Duplication API - Windows.

This component helps in capturing the screen at the rate of 60 Fps (Frames per second) without impacting the quality of video captured.

It also encodes the captured frames using the NVENC - NVIDIA API to a H.264 video output, which is then converted to .mp4 video format using the FFMPEG library.

This uses the GPU for encoding the H.264 video from raw binary data which is captured from the DD API, thus by making 0% performance impact on the imaging quality.

It is used for video record and playback, videos can be captured, divided into chapters and grouped together corresponding a particular patient.

Atlas Wifi

Organization: Siemens Healthcare Private Limited.

A re-usable component used to connectivity between ultrasound machines, and is a .Net Wrapper component developed on top of the NativeWifi automatic configuration component library.

This component features connecting / disconnecting to Secure and Unsecure Wifi networks and editing / deleting user defined Wifi profiles.

Supports implementation of PEAP (Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol) and TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocols in C#.

This component provides connectivity of data between various systems in an environment where the access of LAN is limited. The system automatically detects and connects to the last connected AP (Access Point) whenever the LAN becomes inaccessible.

Atlas Logging & Tracing

Organization: Siemens Healthcare Private Limited.

A .Net library wrapper component developed in Visual Studio 2012 on top of the third party components such as Log4Net – C# and Log4cplus – C++ for logging and tracing solutions.

Provides various logging levels based on category and easy to trace applications and rich in performance factor.

Works under Multi-threaded and Multi-process environment using a system wide Mutex.

Backup / Restore

Organization: Siemens Information & Systems Limited.

A .Net framework re-usable component developed for Backing up and restoring the application configuration settings of an Ultrasound machine.

Configurations of different subsystems can be backed-up in a lower version and can be restored in a higher version of the same machine without corrupting the machine in use.

Component can also be selectively backed / restored based on the subsystem.

I18N (Internalization / Localization) - Tool

Organization: Siemens Information & Systems Limited.

A self-intuitive tool capable of providing the necessary reports which can be exported to an excel sheet for further processing.

This tool is used for generating and populating the translated strings to an xml file. Tool reads a set of resources files (.resx) over a solution to get the list of newly added / deleted / modified strings.

The tool then compares these resource ID’s with that of the translated strings received from the language experts in 4 different languages (FIGS – French, Italian, German, Spanish).

This tool is saves lot of effort for developers and as well as testers and keeps the string information at a single place.

NetQuery – Data migration Tool

Organization: 3i - Infotech

The Data migration Tool is concerned with the migration of huge volume of archived data, images and reports from the older version of the Archival system into the current version of the Archive system - NetQuery 2.0.3.

It establishes the linked server between the various database servers for fetching the appropriate data that reside in the database servers such as SQL server 2000, 2005 and 2008.

Since the Tool involves migration of large volumes of data, a task scheduler is provided so that the system can perform scheduled task of migration process without the manual intervention of the user for the user scheduled data and time.

Organization: 3i - Infotech

A Web Application product developed in Visual Studio 2008: C#, ASP.Net and SQL Server 2005.

This product deals with display of the archived data which resides in the various databases and the data is spanned over a period of time across the databases.

It includes the various search functionality that are used to get the particular transaction made by a user at a specific period of time.

This application includes an Admin module that enables to create Users and User groups who can access the NetQuery Application.

Associated applications like WinQuery and Windows services like Purge Service, DB Sync Service, and Cache Service are available to support the data, getting it from backend and displaying it in the front end.
