Prepare and review monthly commission payroll for multiple legal entities

Prepare various staff payroll related schedules for the company

Payroll:

Prepare and issue paychecks and direct deposits to all employees

Maintain and update master payroll records as necessary

Monitor and balance Payroll Processor workload and address processors questions. Backup processors based on volume of terminations, payroll inquiries and exceptions

Review daily manual checks. Processing and pay out all team members on Leave of Absence

Ensure key payroll analytics are researched, resolved and/or explained prior to transmitting payroll

Be familiar with and ensure compliance with Payroll SOX controls and procedures. Work with the processing team to ensure prior period exceptions are addressed and resolved timely

Working to facilitate and assist in tracking, resolving all of the prior period exceptions prior to transmitting payroll. Support the processors in achieving the goal of real-time customer service

Includes monitoring and supporting the team in their efforts to work the Payroll Inquiries inbox, to a 24 hour turnaround and working to answer and address emails and calls as they come in

Mock check testing, ordering department supplies, process verifications of employment, Workers Comp payroll data requests (Risk Management), update State Disability Insurance, estimated and retro calculation worksheets

Print check copies and W-2's from the Workcenter, validate if Direct Deposit has been deleted in WorkCenter and reset terminated EE’s WorkCenter passwords in ADP

Commissions:

Assist commission department with commission inquiries inbox; created and updated commission manual check worksheet; add and void sessions in GMS and process commission manual check.

Banking:

Send bank files to Wells Fargo; place stop payment; checks researching.
