Dear Sir:
I have 10 years of military supervisory experience as an Operations Sergeant in Army Engineering Construction Units. I have worked and coordinated construction projects in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
My duties included estimating equipment, manpower, time of project, and glide path, while staying with- in budget.
Since most of these projects were thousands of miles from home base, I also was responsible
for the movement of people and equipment to the job site and their safe return.
For eight years prior, I held the position of Maintenance Sergeant and was responsible for all maintenance records, ordering repair parts, inspection of all vehicles, convoy clearances and dispatching all vehicles. I was also responsible for the layout of motor pool parking.
I have been project manager for road building, dock building and repair, the building of a Light House in St. Thomas, V.I., and the construction of a 460ft. pier in Puerto Rico.
I have been in positions to make critical decisions in the fields of Planning, Personnel, Maintenance, Safety Management, Computer Applications, Construction Equipment Operations, and Training, as well as performing the duties of Mobilization and Movement Officer. I have traveled extensively, often for several weeks at a time.
I look forward to meeting with you to discuss my qualifications for this position.
Sincerely,
Roger L. Baldridge
