Projects Undertaken:
Impact of shunt compensation on distance protection and study of its mitigation- It focuses on minimizing the effect of mal-operation of distant relays, and optimization of appropriate zone detection of the place where the fault has occurred using the adaptive techniques using software based simulink model demonstrating the occurrence of fault zone in presence of STATCOM device in any of the zones either at any ends or at middle of long transmission line.
Home automation using Dual Tuned Multi-Frequency (DTMF) technology- It focuses on designing a system which is capable of controlling the switching of AC appliances operation through Mobile phone using DTMF technology. The process of home automation works by making everything in the house automatically controlled using technology to control and do the jobs that we would normally do manually.
Lab automation using Passive Infrared Rays (PIR) sensors- It includes a system which senses the human infrared rays and controls the switching of the appliances. Each appliances to be controlled is attached with a sensor. A person coming in its range is been detected and controlled according to it.
