BACKGROUND SUMMARY
I have worked closely with plant and corporate management in the areas of general accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, consolidations and budgeting for NewLife Industries, Inc., Jackson MSC, Inc., South Kentucky RECC, Muller-Weingarten Corporation, Clarion Manufacturing Corporation of America, two divisions of Dover Corporation, and three divisions of Cincinnati Milacron, Inc. I have also done accounting and personal computer consulting; free-lance editorial work and technical writing; and taught General Business courses for Somerset Community College. I have an extensive background in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. I have managed IT and the Human Resources function in a union environment. CONTROLLER. I worked for the President in this capacity from 02/09 through 08/15. My responsibilities included the following:
Responsibility for all General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Cash Flow Management and management reporting, using QuickBooks Premier, NetSuite, and Excel

Responsibility for preparation of monthly reports for transmission to the U.S. Headquarters in Los Angeles and the Japanese Headquarters in Tokyo
Responsibility for planning and coordination of quarterly physical inventories

Dover Corporation/OPW Division (Cincinnati, OH), a manufacturer of service station valves and fittings, tank truck valves and fittings, and loading valves and fittings for the petroleum marketing industry with consolidated annual sales of $120 million 6/88 through 12/90
CONTROLLER. I worked for the VP of Finance in this capacity from 6/88 through 12/90. My responsibilities included the following:
Supervision of a staff of twelve people in all phases of general accounting, cost accounting, profit planning, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, factory payroll and communications
Preparation of the monthly and year end consolidation of three foreign and two domestic subsidiaries
Preparation and consolidation of year end audit and tax schedules including preparation and filing of personal property tax and city income tax returns
Supervision and reconciliation of the annual physical inventory including the formulation and review of new standard costs and calculation of the LIFO adjustment
Assisting independent auditors in conducting annual onsite review of OPW Division and OPW Consolidated results
