BACKGROUND SUMMARY

I have worked closely with plant and corporate management in the areas of general accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, consolidations and budgeting for NewLife Industries, Inc., Jackson MSC, Inc., South Kentucky RECC, Muller-Weingarten Corporation, Clarion Manufacturing Corporation of America, two divisions of Dover Corporation, and three divisions of Cincinnati Milacron, Inc. I have also done accounting and personal computer consulting; free-lance editorial work and technical writing; and taught General Business courses for Somerset Community College. Dover Corporation/OPW Division (Cincinnati, OH), a manufacturer of service station valves and fittings, tank truck valves and fittings, and loading valves and fittings for the petroleum marketing industry with consolidated annual sales of $120 million 6/88 through 12/90

CONTROLLER. I worked for the VP of Finance in this capacity from 6/88 through 12/90. My responsibilities included the following:

Supervision of a staff of twelve people in all phases of general accounting, cost accounting, profit planning, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, factory payroll and communications

Preparation of the monthly and year end consolidation of three foreign and two domestic subsidiaries

Preparation and consolidation of year end audit and tax schedules including preparation and filing of personal property tax and city income tax returns
