Project : Workout Prospector

Organization: Freddie Mac, Tampa, Florida

Project Description :

Workout Prospector® is an application which helps in confidently analyze and structure foreclosure alternatives for Freddie Mac loans so that one can reduce costs and often help borrowers become long-term homeowners. By entering a Freddie Mac loan number and other data, Workout Prospector will evaluate eligible borrowers for a modification under the Home Affordable Modification program (HAMP) as well as for Freddie Mac Standard Modifications, Freddie Mac Streamlined Modifications, and court mandated modifications. If a borrower is ineligible for, or unwilling to accept, a modification, Workout Prospector helps one determine which liquidation option, such as a short sale or deed-in-lieu of foreclosure, is the optimal solution for the borrower.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Coordinated with the front end design team to provide them with the necessary stored procedures and packages and the necessary insight into the data.

Worked on SQL*Loader to load data from flat files obtained from various facilities every day.

Created and modified several UNIX shellScripts according to the changing needs of the project and client requirements.

Wrote Unix Shell Scripts to process the files on daily basis like renaming the file, extracting date from the file, unzipping the file and remove the junk characters from the file before loading them into the base tables.

AccelRx is a data Integration project involving the products belonging to CIGNA and Healthspring. The entire data of products like PDP, MAPD PDP, EGWP PDP of CIGNA are integrated to their counterparts HS PDP, HS MAPD and HS EGWP PDP.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Wrote conversion scripts using SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions and packages to migrate data from SQL server database to Oracle database.

Performed Database Administration of all database objects including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences packages and procedures.

Implemented 11g and upgraded the existing database from Oracle 9i to Oracle 11g.

Project Description :

Oracle Hyperion Planning is a centralized, Microsoft Office and Web-based planning, budgeting and forecasting solution that integrates financial and operational planning processes and improves business predictability. TJX Companies was using Microsoft Excel for its Planning purposes and wanted to implement Hyperrion Planning which is an Oracle product for Planning, budgeting and forecasting.

The data required for Planning is sourced from various systems like Enterprise Datawarehousing (EDW), Oracle EBS and Oracle DRM. The past and current data is sent to the Planning cubes via Enterprise Performance Management System which is the gateway to the cubes. The data in the cubes are analysed by modifying various factors affecting the business and the output based on the modifications are generated via reports.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Involved in discussions with business users to derive requirements. Held design sessions and created functional and technical design documents using Microsoft Visio and Power Point.

Involved in design and development of ASO and BSO cubes to support Planning, Forecasting and Reporting.

Key involvement in editing Calc Scripts, developing MaxL scripts for automation, MDX for advanced queries. Worked extensively on data loads, load rules, Calc scripts and UDAs.

Responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of the various BSO cubes used for forecasting and strategic decision-making.

Involved in development, performance tuning and optimizations for data/dimension loads, database restructuring (BSO/ASO), calculations, overall Essbase performance. Project Description :

Merchandising System is an data application used in Drugstore, acquired by Walgreens, which automates all operations from product creation to its purchase order. The application has the data of the entire SKUs and new SKUs were created and modified on a regular basis. The Testing of adding and modifying the SKUs were done manually. Hence the client required the process to be automated and it was done successfully using PL/SQL since Oracle was the underlying database.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Gathered requirements for Testing the system and based on the requirements designed and developed PL/SQL packages to automate the Testing processes

Worked with Testing Team to ensure the Automated testing covered all the Testing processes which were earlier done manually

Worked with the client in creating user interfaces and thereby executing the test cases through the UI.

Developed and modified triggers, packages, functions and stored procedures for data conversions and PL/SQL procedures to create database objects dynamically based on user inputs.

Tax ware Enterprise automatically calculates taxes for sales, purchases and rentals .It is a fully automated system that includes built in functionality to support audit defense, eliminate obsolete data and comply with changing tax US and Canadian laws.ADP (Automated Data Processing Inc.)Plans to roll out service packs for the 7.1 version of the Taxware Enterprise and simultaneously hosted a version of the Taxware Enterprise to attract more customers.

Project : Global Relationship Online

Project Description :

Global Relationship Online is a reporting tool which enables the top management make crucial decisions driving Online Sales based on the key metrics in the report.

The user gets data from shared point services. These files are refreshed from OLAP cubes which reside on an OLAP server. OLAP cubes are populated with data for every week. The SQL Server Integration Services is used for ETLs. Some data files are generated from Teradata queries which are used in the process. The whole process runs on a SQL Server.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Involved in building queries for new reports and customizing the existing queries to suit the changing business needs.

Configured batch jobs on SQL Server to meet the business requirement

Created and executed SQL Server IntegrationService packages to populate data from the various data sources, created packages for different data loading operations for many applications.

Designed ETL packages dealing with different data sources (SQL Server, Flat Files, and XMLsetc) and loaded the data into target data sources by performing different kinds of transformations using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
