CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Developed the Passives Component Tester (PCT) automated tester, instrumental in the eradication of wrong passive components and deployed to P.R., Oregon, and Far East factories.
Performed IC Commodities lead role in transitioning to lead-free, RoHS compliant components, in addition to migrating to low-Halogen components.
Strong failure analysis competencies deflected several manufacturing and design related problems originally reported as materials related.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
INTEL CORPORATION 1982 - 2015
TEST ENGINEER (1982-1993)
Validated, debugged and released new test processes. Developed DCL scripts to automate test software installation, deployment, revision control VAX servers. Debugged/re-wrote and/or developed code in:
ASM85/86 used to test boards in the Multibus (iSBC) product line, now owned by RadiSys.
C language used to test IBM PC architecture motherboards.
Developed test process for GenRad 228x, and other ICT.
Developed a test process to electronically inspect passive components at IQC. The tester employed a HP (now Agilent) LCR tester controlled by a PC thru a IEEE-488 interface. The tester code developed in MS Access, Visual Basic & SQL maintained a database with all the main parameters and the test results.
