In Business Transformation stage, testing various activities in the Supply chain management, Order processing systems and Finance systems.

Responsibilities:

Functional consultant for the R12 project and Involved in requirements gathering, analysis, development, QA and post-production support.

Project 8 Ball Business Transformation

The testing on 8 Ball project is with the complete Order to Cash cycle which covers scenarios like order fulfillment from various organizations like US, BR, CN and for order types like Standard, SMART and RMA.

Project AF

The AF project testing was mainly for the Moto X phones for which orders are placed from Motorola site and the orders imported to R12 and send the orders for Shipment to Tianjin. The orders can be placed in site in various ways which gets imported and shipped.

Project Spectre Phase 2

The Spectre Phase 2 project includes all the Order types and it was mainly focused on the shipments from Flex as the ASIA 11.0.3 is planned to move out.

Project Spectre Phase 3

The Spectre Phase 3 project was the next version of AF project but mainly on the Moto X phone orders along with accessories to be shipped from Flex FortWorth.

Oracle Techno Functional for Hutch 3G UK, Chennai

Hutchison project intends to replace its legacy system application, Oracle 11.5.9 in order to align its business applications with Oracle e-Business 11.5.10 Suite.

H3G UK and ROI are moving from a locally hosted instance of Oracle version 11.5.9 to a Global Single Instance (GSI) of Oracle 11.5.10 hosted in Austria. This migration of functionality is divided into three distinct time phases or “drops”.

Buy 2 Pay is a single instance of Oracle ERP that supports Indirect Procurement for all client businesses. It also supports multi-Org Oracle application instance. It is 200+ operating units, multi-currency and multi-language environment. It also supports Direct Procurement and Accounts Payable for a few businesses. In addition to Buy 2 Pay core applications, many peripheral products are used by Buy 2 Pay Business Users. They include Right Fax, Sabrix, 170 Systems, Elance, EMIS, Datacert and others. Buy 2 Pay supports interfaces to businesses Accounts Payable systems as well as those that allow information transfer to support updates for system maintenance.

PO Approval Consolidation Project (Mar 2010 – Feb 2011)

Responsibilities:

Involved in all phases of this project like requirement gathering, coding, testing and documentation.

Created a single Workflow combining many business workflows and amended the functionalities.

Manually created and executed various Test Procedures and Test Cases.

Generated detailed reports of the bugs, the pass-fail reports and the Test results.

COA Gatekeeper Enhancement

Project Description:

The objective was to create a new Gatekeeper ‘COA Gatekeeper’ by Company Code, Source of Account (validated, Manual, Favorite and All) and by cost center with a threshold value. Multiple Gatekeepers would be identified for a Requisition in cases where requisition has multiple lines pointing to multiple cost centers and source of account, and they need to be added to Requisition Approval Hierarchy first up after the Line Managers before any After Gatekeepers. Any changes done to the Requisition Accounts by these gatekeepers would require rebuilding of the Approval Hierarchy for the requisition to identify the new Gatekeepers for types like Cost Center and Account, and would not rebuild the lines managers.

Requisition Approval Enhancement

Project Description:

The objective was to display charge account details with the description in Requisition Approval Notification for 4 orgs. It involves modification of two customized requisition approval workflows to display charge account details as a new region in JRAD Notification. The region displayed details like UNSPSC code, its description, Charge account and its description for single as well as for multiple lines/distributions.

Workflow Retrofitting (RUP11 Retrofitting)

Project Description:

When Oracle applies the patch to the application, Custom workflow would be affected. In order to accept the patch we need to add the patch and the retrofit the custom workflow to the Oracle provided seeded workflow.

Responsibilities:

Analyzed the patches and retrofitted the custom workflows on top of the Oracle seeded workflow.

Created the various test scenarios as part of UTC which to be used by business for testing as well as for internal purpose.

Worked on retrofitting of 12 Workflows which includes Requisition as well as PO.

Tested few Workflow after uploading the retrofitted workflows.

Created queries to compare with the seeded and retrofitted files to view any customizations missed with attributes, messages, message body, notifications, functions and message attributes.

Compared the files in production and the retrofitted to review any changes or mismatches happened during retrofitting.

Reviewed few itemtypes and retrofitted the changes found during testing and review
