Management Development Candidate

Developed a robust and more cost effective rubber by understanding the function of all components of the polymerization process, by using an algorithm to determine the best possible mass ratios needed to produce the desired rubber. The new rubber saved the rubber backing plant from R600 to R1000 per batch blended, without compromising the robustness of the rubber.

I am current studying the effects that the various types of dyes have on the effluent, and what is the best way to keep the conductivity under the municipal's effluent by-law. more details to follow once the project is completed.

Assisting with safety audits and ensuring that the business units complies to legal standards.

Process optimization with lots of Research and Development.

Rating steam boilers and oil furnace heat exchangers by series of audits and mathematical calculations. The results obtained from the audits and calculations are used to define the various possibilities of optimizing the heat exchange process and to recover as much heat as possible. The importance of heat recovery is essential due to the cost of various used in these processes. There the analysis of the Heat Transfer Fluids and fuel used becomes a critical factor on a daily basis.

Re-modelling the pumping, spraying and heating system of Nonwoven Textile products to try and achieve optimal production efficiency. This involves the understanding of polymer-water based reaction, and how chemical will react under various pressures and heating conditions.
