Details of Supervisory activity:
I am currently responsible, on behalf of A Ruiz Master Painters act as representative in his absence and attend some toolbox meetings with the site super visor. Also I am in charge of organizing the job as per Alberto’s instructions, supervising other painters, and liaise with other contractors.
Part of some of A Ruiz Contracts, our responsibilities are to prepare steel Galvanized doors at Steelfinne Fabrication’s Factory such as:
1. Etching the doors by sanding with an Orbital sander.
2. Washing doors with Prep solvent
3. Filling all imperfections in the manufacturing of the doors with 2pack filler.
4. Sanding filler.
5. Spraying paint 2pack Epoxy
Also I am in charge of all the spray painting at Steelfinne Fabrications in which there is 5 other painters working after hours on a roster. I manage the workers and I am responsible for maintaining a work safe environment and liaising with the Factories’ manager and Supervisor.
On site we prepare the doors by:
1. Sanding the doors and filling all minor imperfections.
2. Seal all the filler with 2pack undercoat.
3. Mask hinges, Door locks, glazing and fittings.
4. Cover floors with protective sheets.
5. Paint 2 coats of Top Coat using Dulux Durabuild STE 2pack Epoxy, finished by Brush and Roller.
I am currently in charge of organizing the job as per instructions, supervising other painters, and liaise with other contractors.
